Prep transition dates - for those who have enrolled at The Patch Primary for 2018
Our transition sessions give children an opportunity to meet our Prep teachers, get familiarised with our school and meet children from other Kindergartens. Please pay close attention to the dates and times for each session. Please don’t bring bags or snacks to any session. We have drinking taps at school and we often end up with a pile of lost property at the end of these mornings.

Session 1: Children will spend an hour in the Prep classroom and will have an opportunity to play, listen to stories and sing songs.

Welcome to Prep 2018!
Starting school is an exciting time for children, parents and staff at The Patch School. We endeavour to make the transition process as smooth as possible by providing school tours, orientation sessions and open communication between everyone involved.
Once we have received your child's enrolment form, birth certificate and immunisation certificate, you will be sent a letter of confirmation along with a list of transition dates & times (see link above).
Our Uniform Shop may be open during Prep orientation sessions to enable you to orgaise school uniform for your child, but this will be confirmed closer to the time. This service is provided by a group of amazing volunteer parents who manage all facets of the Uniform Shop at our school. Click here to be re-directed to the Uniform Shop web page
When deciding on your purchases, we ask you to consider buying your child a navy 'The Patch School' school bag. Our experience shows that, while our school bags may appear quite large on a Prep child, this size is required to hold the many items that come to and from school daily - clothing, lunch, readers, communication folder, completed work etc. In most cases this school bag will last your child right throughout primary school. Whilst the final decision is completely up to the parent, purchasing this larger navy bag will save you from buying a replacement a few months later.
If you have any questions regarding school life, you will find lots of information on this website and you are very welcome to contact the school and speak with one of our helpful staff members.
